The Wish

When you start making your illustrations, they're are some sketches you're excited about because you think they're going to be good, and some that are just in the book to get the reader from Point A to Point B, but you don't expect to get very excited about them.

There are always a couple surprises though, this was one of them. I really wasn't expecting much of this painting, and it ended up one of my favorites!
