The nice thing about having done your research is when you turn in a painting like this and people immediately question "can butterflies fly that high? It looks like they're at 5,000 feet!" and without missing a beat you can say:
"Actually Monarch butterflies have been spotted flying at 20,000 ft!" End of discussion.
In a similar vein, when doing a book called "The Prince of Butterflies," the first thing you better figure out is how to tell a Prince from a Princess!
