The "real" David, is in a wonderful setting, with perfect diffused lighting.One thing I learned on this trip was when sketching, work from the bottom up...otherwise, just when you're getting to the base of the sculpture/picture, a tour group will show up and the guide will position the group right in front of you to give a lecture.
