These are
probably the two funniest photos on the entire trip. Apparently,
this Japanese tourist was videotaping me for some time and I wasn't paying
any attention to him. i didn't know he was there. Finally, he
walked around me, but I still didn't look up, I just looked around his
legs. So then he knelt down in front of me...I look up and his
camera is about one foot from my face. I just said "hello"
into the camera, and apparently he was satisfied with that as he smiled,
nodded and walked away. Very odd.
I enjoyed the
lower photo because everyone else seems to be moving and I'm just sitting
in their midst. I have to hand it to my friend Terry...she did a
great job framing this one.
