00319-0004 | Winsor & Newton: Artist's Field Box Set (Traveling Watercolor Kit)
Winsor & Newton makes a cool little traveling watercolor kit that fits in the palm of your hand, but has good quality paints. (As good as watercolor pans get anyway) When folded up, it fits easily even into a jacket pocket. I carry mine at all times in my bag so I can add color to a sketchbook page, do a small painting, or whatever. It's pricey, but I've really enjoyed the convenience of having it around. |
05035-1006 | Isabey Collapsible Pocket Brushes (Series 6201 and 6202)
These are the "pocket" brushes I use with the above kit. Isabey is a good brand, and they are more functional than the dinky, useless little "pointer" brushes that come with most kits. I use all three, but if you were to only get two, dump the squirrel mop brush. Again, they're not cheap, but they are a niche thing and suit the job perfectly. I just "cap'em" and toss them in the bag----which is real convenient.
