This is an enlarged view of the section of the text that deals with the image in the book I call "First Touch".  Notice in the left margins are my different guesses as to the page breaks, and arrows moving them from one place to another until the paginations are correct.

Initial Thumbnails
Here is an enlarged detail of the upper right corner showing my initial thumbnails.  Notice the bottom drawing reflects my initial sketch, while the upper one was an unwitting precursor to the final sketch---the only difference being it was reversed.  I also experimented with just showing a close-up of the butterfly on his hand, but decided it was important that we see our protagonist by this point in the book.
