Here on This Spot "Flag #2" Graphite on Bristol Board Comments In the book, this flag appears the when Grandpa finds the Civil War button digging the ditch. It's supposed to clue in the viewer as to who it's from since we previously saw the flag when the soldier was walking across the field. I really enjoyed drawing both flags for the book, it's incredibly challenging, but very satisfying when you're finally done! |
